George Evans Scores Long-Range Goal as Manchester City Beat Toronto in Friendly

Manchester City's post-season friendly with Toronto was settled by a beautiful strike from the unheralded George Evans.

Evans struck the ball from distance, picking out the corner with a shaped shot that left the goalkeeper with no chance.

Some will deride the concept of post-season friendlies, but for Evans, who has spent the season on loan at Scunthorpe United, it was a chance to prove his worth in a blue shirt.
