In the latest ‘Pod on the Tyne’ podcast, The Athletic journalists George Caulkin and Chris Waugh have talked a lot of questions from the Newcastle fans, and most of them are related to the takeover.
Caulkin, who is undoubtedly one of the best journalists around covering Northern football, has been providing regular updates on the takeover saga, either in the form of articles or on social networking site Twitter.
He has been constantly in touch with both parties, selling and the buyer side, but has admitted that it is frustrating. Caulkin admits that he is still very positive that the deal will go through but at the same time has refused to put a time scale on it.
