Garza, Castillo, Bornstein among Americans involved on Liga MX draft day

Three Americans made moves in the Liga MX draft, with the potential for more to come.

Left back has traditionally been a problem spot for the U.S. national team, but several American left backs were in demand Wednesday.

Greg Garza, the left back who recently signed a new deal with Club Tijuana, will move to Atlas in what sources tell Goal USA is a one-year loan. He takes the place of Edgar Castillo, the American he supplanted at Tijuana, with Castillo moving to Monterrey.

With the Rayados, Castillo will be reunited with former Tijuana manager Antonio Mohamed.
