Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has revealed he doesn't care about winning individual awards such as the Ballon d'Or.
Bale's team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to be named the world's best player for a fourth time at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich on Monday, but the Welshman has revealed he'd rather win trophies with the team.
"Individual awards—I don't think about them at all," he said, relayed by Goal. "They’re nothing that I want to think about. It’s for other people to sort out themselves. For me, I just want to work hard for the team and try to win as many titles as I can.
