Frenkie de Jong admitted Barcelona were feeling pretty sad after throwing away a 1-0 lead against Granada and crashing to a costly 2-1 defeat.
Ronald Koeman’s men had looked set to go top of the table when Lionel Messi fired them in front in the first half, but a poor second half performance allowed Granada to score twice and take the win.
De Jong spoke to reporters after the match and admitted the team is feeling down.
“We’re very sad at the moment. It’s normal, and tomorrow will be the same. Then, we have to get up and continue to fight until the end,” he said.
