Former Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong has said he thinks the club's current star Donny van de Beek is good enough to play for Real Madrid amid speculation linking the player with a move to the club.
Van de Beek and De Jong were crucial parts of the Ajax team that clinched a domestic double in 2018-19, while they also made a surprise run to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
De Jong agreed to move to Barcelona at the end of the campaign, while the Blaugrana's La Liga rivals reportedly want to sign Van de Beek to strengthen their midfield options.
