Bayern Munich confirmed Ribery's foot will be immobilised as it has become clear conservative therapies aren't doing the trick. The club shared the news on Friday via Twitter:

In a statement on Bayern's official website, sporting director Matthias Sammer confirmed the club will stand with Ribery, who faced a multitude of injuries in 2014-15 and failed to make the desired impact on the pitch.
