Antoine Griezmann left Wembley after France's friendly against England on Tuesday night with tears in his eyes. He walked through the mixed zone in silence, reflecting on what has happened to him, to his family and to France over the last few days.
Griezmann, whose sister escaped unhurt from the Bataclan music hall where 89 people were killed by terrorists on Friday night, cried during the "Marseillaise," sung by the whole stadium and during a minute of silence held for the 129 people who died in total. For the Atletico Madrid forward, like the rest of the squad, technical staff and fans, it was a very emotional night in London after such a traumatic time.
