Former Mexico boss Juan Carlos Osorio appointed Paraguay manager

Former Mexico National Team boss Juan Carlos Osorio has been appointed as the new manager of Paraguay. Osorio has signed a contract and will be in charge of Paraguay’s national team through the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Paraguay came just three points short of reaching the 2018 World Cup and had been searching for a new boss ever since. Osorio left El Tri in August after the 57-year-old refused a contract extension with the Mexico National team.

Osorio was also rumored to have interest from the United States Men’s National Team and his native Colombia.
