The 57-year-old has been handed over to US police as the investigation into football's governing body continues.
FIFA vice-president Juan Angel Napout has been extradited to the United States.
The Paraguyan was arrested in Zurich on Dec. 3 on the basis of an arrest request from the U.S. and has since resigned from his position as CONMEBOL president.
Napout is suspected of accepting bribes worth millions of dollars and forms part of the alleged corruption scandal that has rocked world football's governing body.
After agreeing to his extradition, Switzerland's Federal Office of Justice (FOJ) confirmed the transfer of his custody had been completed.
