Spain boss Luis de la Fuente has confirmed that Ferran Torres has picked up a knock on international duty and will not feature in Thursday’s clash with the Netherlands.
Ferran headed off on Spain duty in great spirits after scoring twice in Barcelona’s win over Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
However, he was not with his team-mates in training on Wednesday, working out in the gym instead, and De la Fuente has now offered an update
“He had a problem, so we’re not going to risk him tomorrow. We’re counting on him for Sunday; tomorrow, we’re not,” he said.
