Barcelona lost Ferran Torres to injury after just a few minutes of Sunday’s La Liga clash with Alaves at Mendizorrotza Stadium.
Ferran was named in the starting XI again by Hansi Flick but picked up an issue and asked to come off after several minutes of the game.
The 24-year-old walked off holding the back of his right leg and was replaced by Eric Garcia.
Early estimates suggest that Torres may be out for around three weeks which means he will miss Spain’s upcoming fixtures over the international break.
Torres has been named in the latest Spain squad alongside team-mates Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi but now looks set to drop out.
