The yellow card Lionel Messi picked up in the 2-1 win against Sevilla last weekend has been upheld by the Royal Spanish Football Federation's (RFEF) Competition Committee after Barcelona appealed against the booking. Referee Santiago Jaime Latre cautioned Messi for time wasting as he tried to put his boot back on after being fouled by Steven N'Zonzi.
