Fans Killed in Casablanca Riots During Moroccan Football Match

Two spectators have been killed during a football match in Casablanca, Morocco, as riots erupted in the stands.

Morocco World News relayed a statement from the General Directorate of National Security, via the Maghreb Arab Press, which said that two fans died and another 54 were injured during the contest at the Mohammed V stadium on Saturday night.

The information provided by the press suggests the fighting broke out between separate supporter groups of Raja de Casablanca—the home side—during their match with Chabab Rif Al Hoceima.
