Truly outstanding work from the La Casaca blog (h/t Who Ate All The Pies), who have reimagined famous works of art as Nike football kits with stunning results.
The project sees famous artists linked with the country/city they are most famous with, and the results are eye-catchingly beautiful.
So Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night" becomes a Netherlands shirt, Joan Miro represents Barcelona, Claude Monet's "La Rue Montorgueil" is now a Paris Saint-Germain shirt and Boca Juniors are covered by the work of Quinquela Martin.
You can see the six shirts given the treatment (including Picasso's Malaga shirt) and the paintings they are based on over on La Casaca's blog.
