Oxford United sprung the biggest shock of the FA Cup weekend so far on Sunday, as the League Two side turned over Premier League Swansea City 3-2 in a thrilling clash at the Kassam Stadium.
The Welsh side went ahead early on, but the underdogs, inspired by two-goal Kemar Roofe, responded wonderfully to go 3-1 ahead. Swansea did make it a nervy finish for the hosts with a second goal, but Michael Appleton’s heroic players hung on to secure a famous victory.
Later on in the day Chelsea will host Scunthorpe United at Stamford Bridge, with an intriguing clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City to follow.
