Having previously suggested that a new contract would be tied to the 68-year-old's performance, Martin Glenn has confirmed the Three Lions boss will be judged on next summer.
Roy Hodgson will exit if England disappoints at Euro 2016, the Football Association's chief executive Martin Glenn has confirmed.
The 68-year-old withstood considerable pressure after the Three Lions exited last summer's World Cup after a winless group stage and has since overseen a considerable recovery, winning all six of his European Championship qualifiers to move six points clear at the top of Group E.
But Glenn says there will be little appetite on either side for Hodgson to continue if England produces another limp showing in France next year.
