Ex-FIFA VP Jack Warner plans to challenge extradition

Jack Warner says it's going to be a "long hot summer" as he challenges his extradition as part of the FIFA scandal.

Former FIFA vice president Jack Warner plans to fight extradition to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago.

Warner, whose passport was confiscated to prevent him from fleeing the country, has a hearing scheduled for July 9 to address charges that include racketeering and money-laundering.

"After presenting my case in court, let the judge decide," Warner said Wednesday to political supporters, via The Associated Press. "If he says I should go, I will go.
