Ernesto Valverde offered his opinion on Malcom and Barcelona’s youngsters after their International Champions Cup defeat to Roma in Dallas.
Malcom faced Roma just days after almost signing for the club before opting to join Barcelona instead.
He scored Barca’s second goal in the game and Valverde felt he fits in well with the club’s system.
“He’s a player that works well with our style, he’s always looking to come inside,” he said.
“He’s rapid and has a good shot on him. We’re happy with how quickly he’s adapting. We’re seeing things which indicate he could offer something different during the season.
