England beaten by Netherlands

England were brought back down to earth with a bump as Netherlands came from behind to win 2-1 at Wembley.

Just three days after a fine 3-2 win in Germany, England could not find the same form after making eight changes to their team.

The first shot of the game didn't come until the 16th minute, when Vincent Janssen's shot from the edge of the area was easily handled by Fraser Forster.

Forster then had to claw away another long-range effort from Georginio Wijnaldum in the 26th minute as England struggled to get going.

England finally did record their first shot of the game in the 29th minute, Jamie Vardy firing over after some neat interplay.
