The Mexico national team remained perfect in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying after Juan Carlos Osorio’s side came from a goal down to beat El Salvador 3-1 at the Estadio Cuscatlán.
The home side took the lead after 24 minutes. A mistake from Jorge Torres Nilo inside the box set up an El Salvador penalty, as he was penalized for a handball. Alexander Larin stepped up and converted to give La Selecta the lead.
Torres Nilo did not return for the second period after a frustrating first 45 minutes.
In the second half, a nervous El Salvador sat back early and Mexico poured forward.
