EFL Cup, Carabao Announce Sponsorship Deal: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

The English Football League has announced yet another name change for the EFL Cup, as the iconic tournament will be known as the Carabao Cup starting in the 2017-18 season.

Per BBC Sport, the Thai energy-drink brand, who is already a shirt sponsor for Reading, will pay £18 million for a three-year deal with the EFL.

Per the report, previous sponsors of the EFL Cup include

Milk Marketing Board, Littlewoods, Rumbelows, Coca-Cola, Worthington's and Carling.
