Edin Dzeko has completed his transfer from Manchester City to Roma, as the Bosnia-Herzegovina international has penned a deal with the Giallorossi.
News of the striker’s transfer was confirmed by Roma on Wednesday. Dzeko ends a four-year spell with the Premier League side, with whom he won two league titles, an FA Cup and the League Cup.
Although his stint at the Etihad Stadium has been trophy-laden, things haven’t always been plain sailing for Dzeko. He’s never quite lived up to the billing he had upon joining from Wolfsburg back in 2011, unable to nail down a regular starting spot in the City XI, as we can see here courtesy of Sky Sports News HQ:
