TOULOUSE -- Three quick thoughts on Italy 1-0 Sweden in Group E at Euro 2016.

For Sweden, heartbreak. For Italy, a definite downturn in performance but a winning goal that took them through to the round of 16. When all seemed headed for tedious stalemate, Eder stole it in the 88th minute.
It had been cagey in the extreme, two teams struggling for attacking fluency. Italy never looked close to scoring until Marco Parolo hit the woodwork with an 83rd minute header, but then Inter Milan's Eder stole across a tiring Sweden defence to grab the goal that endangers their tournament.
