Dunga remains tight-lipped on Thiago Silva's Brazil future

The Selecao coach refused to answer questions regarding a possible return for the Paris Saint-Germain defender, insisting he preferred to discuss his current squad

Brazil coach Dunga has refused to confirm or deny if Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Silva could return to the side in the future.

The defender captained his country at last year’s World Cup but, after losing the captaincy to Neymar, has now been left out of Brazil’s last three squads.

Brazil faces Peru on Tuesday without David Luiz after he was sent off in the 1-1 draw with Argentina on Friday, leading local media to call for Silva’s return – but Dunga shrugged aside questions over a possible return for the 31-year-old by insisting he preferred to discuss players who made his squad this month.
