Barca announced Douglas will be out for eight weeks. This is a most unfortunate development considering his injury occurred in what amounts to an exhibition fixture.
Barcelona have Champions League and La Liga trophies to guard, but they have plenty of depth to overcome Douglas' absence. He made just two appearances for the club this past La Liga season.
