Dos a Cero in Guadalajara as Mexico defeats the United States in friendly.

Mexico defeated the United States for the first time since 2019 by a 2-0 score on a friendly Tuesday night. Mexico got a deserved win after being clearly the superior team against and United States that were missing key players but were much poorer than expected even without them. Mexico and the United States ended their FIFA Date friendlies and will now play in November in the CONCACAF Nations League Quarterfinals.

The 1st half started with all eyes on Andres Guardado as he made his final start with the Mexican National team. A cross into the area was cleared by Mexico’s defense as Mexico tried to gain control of the match.
