Liverpool have managed to tie down goalkeeper Danny Ward to a long-term contract on 23 June.
The 22-year-old move to the Merseyside club from Wrexham in 2012 and has been a regular inclusion for the Reds’ Under-21 side, where he has developed himself as a player. Last season he moved out of Anfield on-loan.
“Liverpool FC are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Danny Ward has agreed a new long-term contract with the club,” a statement read on Liverpool’s official website.
“The 22-year-old, who began his career at hometown club Wrexham before moving to Anfield, officially committed his future to the Reds by penning a new deal today.
