Serie A giants Inter Milan have finally secured a deal for Lazio winger Antonio Candreva. The Biancocelesti President, Claudio Lotito, has cleared the player’s departure, according to reports from Italian publication Gazzetta World.
Premier League giants Chelsea were also heavily linked with a move for the 29-year-old winger and Antonio Conte even putting him near the top of his summer wishlist. However, the Blues dropped down their interest in recent weeks with Antonio Conte focussing on strengthening the squads in other areas of need.
Lazio have accepted a €22m transfer fee paid up front while a bonus sum of €3m to be paid over four years.
