Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured the signing of Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez on a season-long loan, after a verbal agreement with the Premier League club was reached yesterday.
The 22-year-old has returned to the second tier after having spent a short loan spell at Rotherham United at the back end of last season. The Argentine made eight appearances in the Championship for the Millers, keeping two clean sheets.
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has expressed his delight at his club’s new signing, and talked up the experience the young goalkeeper will bring to his side.
