The U.S. presidential candidate, who previously tried to acquire Colombia's Atletico Nacional, has rejected a report he's trying to purchase San Lorenzo.
United States presidential candidate Donald Trump has dismissed claims he is trying to buy the Pope's favorite club, San Lorenzo.
The New York Post had reported the Republican frontrunner and his business partner Alessandro Proto had already made contact with the Argentine outfit about acquiring the 2014 Copa Libertadores winner.
However, Trump promptly took to Twitter to insist there is absolutely no truth in the report that he wants to own the club, which has the support of the head of Catholicism in Pope Francis.
