Pape Diop scored his first goal of the season in Eibar’s 2-1 comeback victory over Deportivo Alaves in Sunday’s Spanish La Liga fixture.
The midfielder, who made his 10th league appearance in the encounter, received a caution in the 88th minute just before scoring the match-winning goal at the death to help Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men return to winning ways after a three-game winless run.
Earlier Manu Garcia had opened the scoring for the visitors four minutes into the game with Jony providing the assist.
In the 24th minute, the Mendizorrotza outfit were reduced to 10 men after Ruben Duarte was sent off and in the 62nd minute, the home team were equally short of a man as Pablo De Blasis received his second booking.
