Diego Reyes still without a team as Turkey’s Fenerbahce latest team to lose interest

Diego Reyes is still without a team. While Reyes has been the subject of rumors linking him to several clubs, the latest one to lose interest in the 25-year-old is Fenerbahce. The Mexican center back became a free agent after FC Porto declined to offer him a new contract back in May.

According to various reports from the past few weeks, manager Phillip Cocu was highly interested in Reyes, but injury worries were the main reason the Turkish club decided to back down. Reyes missed the 2018 World Cup due to a hamstring injury.

For his part, Reyes doesn’t seem to be taking his free agency very seriously.
