The Spain international has been punished further for his behavior at Goodison Park and will now miss the trip to Swansea as well as Saturday's clash against Aston Villa.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been handed a fine and an additional suspension in relation to his conduct in the FA Cup against Everton on March 12.
Costa's latest suspension, a further one-match ban, will come into play immediately following his current ban and means he will miss Chelsea's trip to Swansea as well as Saturday's clash against Aston Villa.
The charge relates to Costa's angry protests to referee Michael Oliver and refusal to leave the pitch following his red card.
