Didier Deschamps has justified his decision to select Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra for France's June friendlies against Belgium and Albania.
France coach Didier Deschamps had no hesitation in calling up Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra for France's friendlies next month, despite the duo's likely involvement in the UEFA Champions League final.
"It is true they will play during the Champions League final the day before [France play Belgium]," Deschamps said. "But as I already said many times, I consider the French national team above all other things."
Pogba and Evra are part of Deschamps' squad to face Belgium and Albania next month, with the first match taking place a day after Juventus takes on Barcelona in Berlin.
