Denis Suarez rules himself out for the rest of the season with groin injury

Denis Suarez has revealed he will not play again this season due to a groin injury which means he can’t even train at the moment.

The midfielder has had a pretty tough season and this will be a further blow to the 25-year-old.

He left Barcelona in January after making just two substitute appearances in La Liga and joined Arsenal on loan, but he has struggled to make any impact at the Gunners.

Denis has managed just 67 minutes in the Premier League and 28 in the Europa League, and there seems no chance Arsenal will be taking up the option to sign him permanently.
