Barcelona sporting director Deco has met with Jules Kounde’s agent to open talks about a contract extension at the club.
According to Jijantes, Deco is already making plans to tie the defender down to a new contract at the club. His existing deal currently runs until 2027.
The report claims “both parties are aware that there is no rush” but are willing to start work on a new deal to keep Kounde at Camp Nou.
Kounde has become a key figure for Barcelona since moving from Sevilla and is a regular in the team - apart from when he’s late for team meetings (!
