Davy Klaassen has left Everton to join Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
Klaassen only joined the Toffees last summer from Ajax Amsterdam.
There were heavy expectations on him after he managed to help guide the Dutch giants to the final of the Europa League during the 2016-17 season before they lost to Manchester United.
Some even expected that with the influence of Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez, the Toffees would have been able to challenge for a place in the top four ahead of last season.
However, the club struggled and even flirted with relegation before Ronald Koeman was sacked as manager and Sam Allardyce came in and steadied the club.
