Add another player to the United States national pool: Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe is now an American citizen.
The 25-year-old, who was born in Liberia and grew up in Ohio, officially became a citizen Thursday, which makes him immediately eligible for the U.S. national team. Representing the U.S. is something Nagbe said in the past he would like to do .
