The Chivas duo, who both spent time in Major League Soccer, are set to start Wednesday's friendly against the United States.
SAN ANTONIO — Current Chivas players and MLS veterans Erick "Cubo" Torres and Carlos Salcedo are set to start for Mexico against the United States in a friendly Wednesday.
As is his habit before friendly matches, Mexico manager Miguel Herrera gave his starting XI after training.
Former Real Salt Lake defender Salcedo has starred since moving to the Gauadalajara club in the winter and is in line for his first senior Mexico cap. Alongside him in the center of defense will be Cruz Azul veteran Francisco "Maza" Rodriguez and Monterrey's Hiram Mier.
