Still in a period of rebuilding under president Erick Thohir, this summer’s transfers will be significant for Inter as it looks to climb back up the Serie A table and become a competitive side domestically, at least, again.
The Nerazzurri have already made a statement with the costly acquisition of 22-year-old Geoffrey Kondogbia, with the club chief insisting he will be “the cornerstone of a young and strong project.”
