CSKA Moscow clinched the Russian title after finally ending the challenge of FC Rostov.
CSKA Moscow regained the Premier League title on Saturday with a 1-0 win at Rubin Kazan.
CSKA, which claimed the crown in 2014 but lost out to Zenit St Petersburg last term, got the victory it needed to end the challenge of surprise package FC Rostov.
The capital club went into the final day knowing a win was required and duly delivered - Alan Dzagoev's 19th-minute strike proving decisive, although goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was called upon to produce a brilliant double save late on.
