Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to help Juventus extend their lead at the top of Serie A after a 2-1 win over Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Turin on Saturday.
Ronaldo scored from 12 yards when strike partner Paulo Dybala won a penalty nine minutes after the break, after Francesco Caputo had given Empoli a first-half lead. Juve's record signing rocketed in a fierce shot in the 70th minute as the Bianconeri made it nine wins from 10 in the league to start the season.

Empoli will be away to title-chasers Napoli on Friday, with Juve hoping Saturday's opponents can do them a favour in the title race.
