Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes 1st Player to Score in 3 Champions League Finals

Real Madrid poster boy Cristiano Ronaldo has written his name further into the European history books after becoming the first player to score in three UEFA Champions League finals on Saturday.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in this year's final against Juventus when he swept in a low shot past goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon in the 20th minute at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. The goal came about after a smart one-two between Ronaldo and right-back Dani Carvajal on the counter. Ronaldo's achievement was confirmed by Squawka Football:
