Two teams looking to kickstart their faltering push for the Championship playoffs meet later tonight when Stoke City visit Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
Coventry had the better of the game vs QPR at the weekend but went down to a 1-2 defeat, making it one win in eight for the Sky Blues.
Similarly, Stoke City applied themselves well against runaway league-leaders Fulham on Sunday but succumbed to a 2-3 loss.
With both teams down in 10th and 9th place, respectively, but with games in hand, the winner of tonight’s clash stands to put themselves back in the mixer for the playoffs, and, perhaps, a late push for Premier League football next season.
