But Corinne Diacre’s job, as coach of France’s national women’s soccer team, is not to let any of it affect her, to give nothing away.
She has stood still and impassive in the technical area during each of her team’s first three games, her ringed, piercing blue eyes scanning everything on the field, her stony face revealing nothing.
