The biggest game in Mexican football will be played in Mexico for the first time in 2020 when Chivas plays against America in the semifinals of the Copa GNP por Mexico. Chivas will come after being first place in Group B, but will be without their Coach Luis Fernando Tena who tested positive for COVID-19. America meanwhile will go in hoping to make up for being rocked by their city rivals Cruz Azul by a 4-1 score on Saturday, knowing that a loss against their biggest rival will rub salt into the fans’ proverbial wounds.
Chivas had a good start to the Copa GNP por Mexico after winning their group.
