Atletico Madrid were shockingly bounced out of the Copa del Rey after losing at home to Celta Vigo on Wednesday, a night when holders Barcelona progressed to the semi-final stage after seeing off last year's beaten finalists, Athletic Bilbao.
Atleti equalised after going behind early, but it was two second-half goals from the visitors that dealt the fatal blow to manager Diego Simeone's team. Meanwhile, Barca also fell behind in the first half, conceding after just two minutes, but were able to rely on their typical firepower to see them through.
