Tottenham Hotspur have completed their first signing of the summer transfer window on Friday after they announced that they have reached an agreement with FC Köln for the transfer of Kevin Wimmer.
The 22-year-old centre-back had an impressive season with the Bundesliga outfit, which saw him attract interest from the North London club. He has now agreed to sign a five-year deal at White Hart Lane.
A statement on Tottenham’s official website read, “We are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of Kevin Wimmer from 1. FC Köln. The central defender has signed a five-year contract.
