Not only did the Costa Rican club drub Club America 3-0 in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League semifinal, it clearly got under the Mexican side's skin in doing it. America center back Paolo Goltz was suspended for his kick on a Herediano player and America was later fined for damage caused to the visitor's dressing room.
